According to a book "The Warrior Diet" intermittent fasting is a lifestyle and it is practiced by our ancestors like an earlier human has to be killed or hunt animals for a whole day so that they can eat 6 Intermittent Fasting Schedules For Weight Loss, With Expert Tipsit in the night or sometimes they are not able to hunt and have to sleep without eating any food  As a result human is evolved to carry their function without eating for longer periods of time.
one of the trending diet in today's scenario for fast weight loss/fat loss is intermittent fasting but does it really works?
Let me make you clear that intermittent fasting is not a type of diet plan its a lifestyle and you can gain benefits only if you do this for a longer period of time . You should only follow this pattern if your daily schedule or lifestyle fits into it.
when we talk about intermittent fasting there are 2 things which a person does lead to the failure
  • overeating
  • undereating

History:-
How it Works:-
  • It has been seen in studies that fasting for a longer period of time and then eating for a limited time can enhance the absorption and the digestion of the body.
  • Taking certain levels of protein on an empty stomach may increase the levels of testosterone in the body.
  • Not eating food for a longer period of time also improves insulin sensitivity due to which blood sugar levels does not fluctuate more.
  • The levels of growth hormone also increase.
Types of intermittent fasting:-
the warrior diet:-
during this diet, the person usually eats whole and raw fruits for the day time and one large meal at night in the last this diet is similar to the Indian Navratri (Hindus festivals) where they usually eat fruits in the morning and say time and then a whole balanced meal in the night without any calorie count or
restrictions.Intermittent Fasting — Integrated Eating
16/8 diet:-
Most common and trending diet patterns in today's scenario. This is also known as leangains protocols its a kind of window eating when a person is too fast for 16 to 17 hours and then he /she can have meals for the remaining 8 hours. The frequency of meals totally depends on the person he/she can have 3 meals a day of either 2 meals in a day the only criteria is that he/she has to eat within that eating window only.
Alternate day diet plan:-
In this diet, pattern person eats normally 500-600 calories on a fasting day and the next day he/she can have normal meals.
Myths about intermittent fasting:-
  • one of the myths is that intermittent fasting will lead to an increase in the catabolic hormone cortisol which leads to the catabolism of the tissues and muscles but this is not true this catabolism of the tissues is totally depended on the amount and quality of food we eat during the eating window.
  • There are several studies which have already proven that intermittent fasting has no magic or extra effect on the fat loss totally depends on the caloric restrictions or eating below our maintenance calories
Intermittent fasting may provide many physiological and psychological benefits but it directly doesn't help you in fat loss see when we talk about intermittent fasting there are 2 more things which we have to take under consideration overeating and undereating so if a person eats under their maintenance calories then he/she will automatically lose fat but if he/she overeats which is a  common case when we follow intermittent fasting he/she will not lose fat.
