gout: symptoms,do's and dont's

Gout is an inflammatory disease that is caused due to the deposition of monosodium urate crystals into your joints. This is the foremost painful condition for the person because the person feels red hotness and swollen joints pain. this condition is additionally referred to  as gouty attacks and that they are usually seen over the toes of your legs

One of the most reason for these gouty attacks is hyperuricemia (accumulation of uric acid moreover 6.8mg /dl in your blood) which ultimately result in the formation of the sharpy crystals of monosodium urates. Causes:-



Increased consumption of purines containing food items in your diet. (ex.shellfish, red meat, organ meat)
high use of simple carbohydrates and sugary syrups and beverages
the inability of the kidneys to properly filter the uric acids
dehydration 

  •  obesity
  • diabetes
  • chemotherapy and radiations
  • excessive use of some drugs and medicines like aspirin, diuretics


Medication and Treatments:-

  • condition is often cured with the assistance of some non- steroidal and anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)
  • Use of corticosteroids.
  • Probenecid a medication which is employed to get rid of uric acid from the body.

Diet:-

  • A calorie-restricted (low carbohydrates diet ) should be given (only whole and complex carbs should be given)
  • avoid fasting because it may result in more severity.
  • low proteins and purines diet should be given
  • a low-fat diet should be given 
  • omega -3 rich foods should be given to the person, for example, flax oil, vegetable oil, etc
  • strictly restriction of simple carbs and sugary beverages, also keep one's eyes off from soda 
  • keep body hydrated add watermelon, cucumber in your diet.
